No Food Left Behind

Hi Friends! I’ve been working on an exciting project lately with the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition. Funded by a grant from the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, I am developing a presentation about Preventing Wasted Food to take into the 5th grade classrooms. Did you know that 40% of the food produced in the US is going to waste?! Preventing this is one of the easiest ways to reduce our carbon footprint. I’ll be using my loopy musical skills, artsy activities, graphs and charts to turn what I’ve learned into a kid-friendly and fun presentation. I hope to have a positive influence and galactivate some youth (the next wave of consumers and voters). We are powerful magicians, we CAN make a difference! Stay tunedHomepageCarrot.png
